Our Doberman Bloodline
Von Katzenstein kennel have been training and breeding AKC Dobermans since 2012.
We are located in Vale North Carolina on our 20.3 acre farm.
In 2020 we expanded to include the rare French breed Beauceron and in 2022 German import line German shepherd dogs.

We AKC show and sport, French Ring sport, Schutzhund sport, DNA health test, OFA hips/elbow certified and cardio ekg/echo screened our Dobermans, Beaucerons and GSDs.
We only breed when we personally plan on keeping a puppy from that pairing for sport and or show. We do not breed dogs to just sell, we have a personal investment in every litter!
Our dogs are bred for stable temperament, correct size and weight, workability/show prospect and fabulous family pets. Temperament is very important to us. We AKC Temperament test every one of our dogs in every test available though AKC such as ATT, CGC, FDC and more.

We have mostly European lines consisting of the top show and working names in all of Europe. American show lines are also included for good genetic diversity and the regal look.
We have imported several Dobermans, however the best lines in the world are already in this great country so there is little need to import!

Most European Dobermans are highly inbred and we just can't keep adding the same dogs in our pedigrees for the "new" famous show name.
Beaucerons have a small amount of bloodlines in the USA and we plan on bringing in several European lines.

We do not breed for color however, sometimes we do get blues and fawns Dobermans. All of our Doberman puppies come cropped and docked to Louis Dobermann's standards. Our Beauceron puppies are also cropped to the true original standard for the breed. We are very passionate about the correct look of the breeds. For more info on our puppies see "puppy page".
