      The Beauceron

      About the Beauceron

      Beauceron is pronounced bow-sher-on.

      HEIGHT

      25.5-27.5 inches (male)

      24-26.5 inches (female)

      WEIGHT

      70-100 pounds (male)

      55-75 pounds (female)

The Beauceron is a high energy herding breed that loves to be moving and working flocks daily. They love cooler weather and would rather be outside playing and working  than on the sofa.

Some make ok protection sport dogs and few truly make higher levels.

This breed can be aloof but should never refuse to work or be lazy. They are beautiful, loyal, hard working and willing to please.

They do seasonally shed, require a higher quality of food and not recommend for first time dog owner or someone without higher energy dog experience.

They do not like strangers and are not interested in being the center of attention in a group. Personally I love this about the breed.
